Geoff has had over thirty years experience in all facets of the construction industry, having established Capworks Management in 1989.
Within the Health Industry, both within the Hospital system as a CEO and as a Consultant in Health Facility Planning and Project Direction and Project Manager, Geoff has experience throughout Queensland, New South Wales and overseas , over fifty years.
He is a Fellow of the Institute of Managers & Leaders and an Honours Graduate in Management. He has had experience in design management and project management of education facilities throughout Queensland.
Peter has a background in both design, as a Design Manager and in construction as a Project Manager.
Peter has over eighteen years experience in the construction industry in varied roles including design and project management, development management, bid management, contract administration and design documentation of both small and major projects for Private Sector clients.
His professional skill-set is varied and includes strategic forward planning, on-site project management, contracts management and senior leadership.
In his varied roles, Peter has used his experience at working in live environments to positively influence project outcomes.
Peter is currently involved in managing Capworks extensive involvement within the education sector.
Forty years experience in the construction industry involving design, construction management and/or administration of both small and large projects provides a sound background for Mike’s continued consulting role with Capworks Management.
His expertise in both dealing with a myriad of different user groups and contractors has been invaluable in our undertaking of Project Management roles on the Princess Alexandra Hospital and Royal Brisbane Hospital campuses, and Education projects at Springfield, Murrumba, Wavell and West End.
In addition to work undertaken for Health and Education, Mike has a strong commercial background in both civil/structural and building projects encompassing apartment buildings, swimming pool complex, town houses, sub divisions, road works resumptions, commercial and residential premises
Latha has over 22 years’ experience in the construction industry with expertise in various aspects of Quantity Surveying including Cost Plans and Estimates, Bill of Quantities, Tender documentation and review, Contract Administration and Financier reporting.
She has worked for different organizations from Professional QS firm, Project Management Consultancy, Architects, Government organization, Construction Contractors to Design Consultants.
She has worked on Projects ranging in size from $1m to $150m across various sectors including schools, residential
Linda’s career spans over thirty years and encompasses all aspects of project contract administrative duties through to accounting administration. She is responsible for the day to day project administration aspects of our projects including: monthly report preparation; management of RFIs, ensuring information flow between client, consultant and contractors occurs in a timely manner; preparation of site directions, variation price requests and variation orders, EOT claims and progress claims; management of records and electronic document management systems; preparing meeting agendas and minute taking.
Linda’s administration of all of the Capworks projects over the past twenty-four years ensures that the management of projects will meet Client Standards.
Duncan’s career spans over 40 years and he has invaluable experience working with Education reporting on finances not only on a project level but for entire programs of work including the Prep Program and State Schools of Tomorrow. During this period Duncan was located at Education House, which has provided Duncan with an invaluable understanding of the internal workings of the Education. He has also had extensive experience in providing financial reporting on major Health projects both within Australia and overseas.
Duncan has an Advanced Accounting Certificate.
His knowledge of financial reporting requirements, such as, program cost reporting, project cost reporting, cash flow reports including expenditure forecasts and project bank account (PBA) Legislation is of benefit to any project. Duncan’s role includes monitoring financial progress of projects, reviewing Client reports to ensure appropriate allocation of all costs to relevant cost centres, and assessing contractor progress claims and variations.
